Not all my attempts at parodies work out quite the way I want.
Here are some fragments of parodies that never really got off the ground.

You're caught in the crosshairs
Of a smarter bomb than you can understand

And you've got to choose which way you're gonna run

From the land of Kuwait, get the heck out!
Time's disappearing; we're what you're fearing
Reason forsaken; chances are taken away

The only way to half a friend is with a chainsaw....

(And that's one's going back under the rock it crawled out from under,
although if we want to be grammatically correct we would say,
"And that one's going back under the rock out from under which it crawled";
after all, grammatical incorrectness is the sort of thing
up with which we will not put!)

Up from the waistline
We are drawn to a diet neverending....

(Actually, this parody idea never really had any meat on its bones....)
