Jimmie Evans III is a professional heavy metal singer/songwriter/guitarist and recording producer/engineer based in Santa Rosa, California.  On January 28, 2001, the fifteenth anniversary of the Challenger disaster, in a burst of inspiration Jimmie, with help from his brother Eddie, wrote, recorded, produced and engineered "The Ride," the lyrics to which he has graciously allowed me to include as part of this site.  Please visit Jimmie's "Electric Punishment" web site for more information about him and his music and to hear more samples of his talent.
